About Mappii

It all started with an app called r8ted. It was a project built to rate individual food and drink items, originally espresso martinis amongst friends. But while building r8ted, I noticed something bigger. Content creators were boxed in by the platforms they used. They had no real way to organize their recommendations spatially. No map. No context. Just a scroll.

I kept asking: Why isn’t there a map view for all the great content these creators are sharing? If someone visits a town, how do they find that one post again? Dig through saved folders? Scroll endlessly? That’s not intuitive.

That’s when the idea for Mappii clicked. A platform where creators can display their world visually, geographically, and beautifully. A map that grows with them. A new way for followers to engage and revisit their content. A tool to generate views even after the post fades.

Mappii was built to give creators what the big platforms do not offer: control, clarity, and a canvas that matches the value of their work. It is about more than pins. It is about presence.
